Before you drop off

Wash clothes and check they’re in good shape; ripped or stained clothes cost charities money to dump.
Drop off during opening hours. Goods left outside a closed shop often get rained on or taken.
Most shops can’t take mattresses, cot and car seats (safety rules), broken electricals or large old TVs.
Ring ahead for big furniture, or book a pickup where the charity offers one.
